Starkiller is an indica that comes from the original Skywalker OG Kush and the Rare Dankness #2 produced by Rare Dankness Seeds. It is 70 percent indica and 30 percent sativa.
This strain is best used for ailments such as insomnia, pain relief and PTSD. If flavor is a concern, “The OG taste and the lemonhead flavor are some of the best traits in this indica strain,” said Kevin Biernacki, Director of Cultivation for The Grove. In addition, Starkiller gives patients a smooth, even high and the concentrates produced with this strain are some of the most flavorful.
Starkiller was the winner of the High Times Cannabis Cup and the Oregon Growers Cup. The strain’s name is a Star Wars reference playing off one of its original strains, Skywalker. Starkiller references the character Galen Marek, the Dark Jedi and anti-hero protagonist of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
