Tiffany “TJ” Hoven is the Chief Operating Officer at The Grove and was the company’s first employee, playing a foundational role in building the organization from the ground up. Since helping launch The Grove’s first dispensary in Pahrump, Nevada, in 2016, Hoven has helped develop the operational infrastructure supporting the company’s vertically integrated cannabis business, including retail, cultivation, production, distribution, delivery, training, compliance, product development, and most recently, cannabis consumption.
As COO, Hoven oversees operations across the organization and works closely with The Grove’s leadership and department teams to develop scalable systems, maintain regulatory standards, strengthen training and accountability, and ensure operational consistency across the company. She developed The Grove’s original budtender training program, has played an integral role in SKU and product development, and worked alongside The Grove’s CEO to conceptualize, design, operationalize, and bring Society Elevated Lounge to market. The lounge opened in April 2026 as the first licensed cannabis consumption lounge to open in Nevada in two years.
With degrees in nursing and project management, Hoven brings an education-focused, systems-driven approach to cannabis operations. Her work is centered on helping move the industry beyond the traditional stigma surrounding cannabis by creating safe, compliant, and informed environments where consumers can access high-quality products, receive knowledgeable guidance, and make educated decisions with confidence.
